Particle Effects Editor ?

Pip,

The engine docs mention that the editor isn't available .... so I have a few questions.

I've looked at the FX files ... :?: Are these just control instructions

Also, if I have an S3F in the ANIM folder, will a TXT file (under the same name & folder) function like a unit's TXT (regarding animations, etc) :?:

No - the TXT files are specific to the units. It's a good point that if we are having more dynamic objects, then being able to play animations on them would be uber cool!

Let me add taking a look at the FX editor to the todo list - the main issue I think is that it is set up for GBM actually, and Richard has worked around all the various foibles to get the BA FX done. I don't think you could really edit them by hand, it's pretty involved :(.
