Mac version planned?

Hi, two obvious questions:

(1) Any plans for a Mac release?
(2) This game could totally be played on an iPad. Any thoughts about that?

Did you write the blog on UI? If so, well said.

We are working on a Mac version currently, although it is having to share time with improved features currently. But it will be available asap!

Thanks for supporting the Mac community! I just came across Commander Europe at War and downloaded it today. Battlefield Academy looks very cool as well but I was disappointed to see it wasn't available for the Mac. On a lark I checked the forums and was really happy to see that you are working on a Mac version.

Happy happy!

Is there any update on the Mac version of Battlefield Academy?

To be honest the number of new features that we want to get into the next update has cut badly into the time I was hoping to spend on the Mac version. However, the plan is to burn down everything we want to get done for the next update, then take a break on new stuff and have some solid porting work.

Sorry I can't be more definitive, but progress is being made. I am within a few hundred errors of getting a version compiling, and dealing with the various differences and foibles of each OS is half the battle, so I'm hoping to make good progress once I put new features on hold.

Cheers

Hi Pip

Any clues on what the new features will be and timescale?

Timescale is still fluid, but within the next month or 2 I would hope. Lots of new stuff, including dynamic objects, reversing, and carryover campaigns.

But that's just between you and me, right?
