LF charging LF or LH charging LH/ LF dont not have to make a CMT. If they are charing other troops they do. What happens if the LF or LH being charged evades through another BG that would require a CMT for LF or LH?

Does the charging LF or LH move into contact with the new BG without making a CMT or are they required to make a CMT?

If the BG is required to make a CMT do they make this test before or after the VMD roll?

What if the VMD roll does not bring them into contact with the new BG, would they still need to make a CMT?

If the VMD brings them into contact with the new BG and they fail the CMT roll do they move at all or just stay put?

Basically the CMT must come at charge declaration if the target is in in open terrain. They do not need one otherwise. If they pass the CMT, such as LH charging unbroken battle troops then they must contact any battle troops they meet. Can be a pain if the original target breaks at declaration and the charge takes them into steady battle troops. It can also be a pain if the original target did not need a CMT but they want to hit a target that does after evades. Because they cannot take one if there is no target at declaration that needs one.
