Total Newby Here

I have played Wargames sporadically for 30 years. No Great tactician. Played one game of FOG.
I always thought it would be a good game for a Total Newby to Play an Experienced Player. Of course my Army would need to be large such as an Emperor taking direct control from his Generals. I am open to suggestions and have some time starting Wed. afternoon and Thursday-Sunday off. I would play your scenario or a Battle. I have Rise of Rome and am interested and might purchase the Storm of Arrows.
