Death rolls

Hey guys,
An Artillery battery of 2 guns fires at a Swedish 7 base BG and inflicts one hit. Question --- Does the swedish bg take a death roll??

Taking death rolls after every hit is a *big* difference from the ancient rules.
There, shooting is all about cohesion.
Firearms actually whittle down numbers....
