Hi ,

you should find something in the biblical range from Essex miniatures : BS 34 amorite javelinmen and BS 34a the Kepesh holders typical of the period, a good mix with all the Canaanite foot soldiers, with a mix of the biblical range of Magister Militum could give you all you need , perhaps with few figures from Old Glory;

have a good painting time!

Hi,

The 'Lost Scrolls' army lists has Amorite Kingdoms of Mesopotamia such as Subartu (the Assyrian Old Kingdom) from the time of Shamshi-Adad (1813 to 1755 BC) and the 1st Dynasty of Babylon (1894 to 1595 BC) and also the Amorite ruled city states of Syria such as Yamkhad (Aleppo), Mari, Qatna (Tell Mishrife) and Ugarit from circa 2000 BC until their adoption of massed maryannu style chariotry some time after 1600 BC.

Thanks, but I meant what lists cover the period after the Amorite Kingdoms? There seems to be a gap until the 600s BC but my knowledge of the history/ethnography is patchy so there may be other lists into which Babylon falls during this period.

You are correct that there is a gap before the Neo-Babylonians that isn't covered by the lists. The FoG lists in general are not as encyclopedic as those for some other rules.

Yes, the period you refer to begins with the Kassite Babylonians and continues through the Middle and Later Babylonian periods until the Neo-Babylonian Empire of the Iron Age. The mising period is the one of the Late Bronze Age. There is discussion of a list in the "Player Designated Lists" section.
