I am giving the gift of digital FOG this Christmas to my best friend. I have the full army sets and all patches. Here are my questions:

Can I buy the digital download of the base game from Slitherine, burn the downloaded install file and pass on the key code?

Will he be able to patch up to the current patch?

Will he be able to do DAG multiplayer games with the base set of armies?

Will he need RoR before other add on armies?

If any of the above answers is no, what is the minimum software package requirements for online DAG multiplayer?

NO, YOU CAN PLAY MULTI-PLAYER HISTORICAL AND CUSTOM GAMES ONLY

Will he need RoR before other add on armies?
NO, ANY DAG ALLOWS PLAY OF DAG MULTiPLAYER GAMES

Further question, does all of the army packs contain their own DAG, that is, RoR, SoA, IF, and SaS each have the ability to do DAG?

As long as you have the main game you only need any one army pack for DAG games.
