Slitherine

I'm confused. I see that Commander-Europe at War Gold is available from Matrix. and they list the latest patch as 1.12.

Then here I see MILITARY HISTORY C-EAW which has an update of version 1.06.

Are these two games the same? If so why isn't patch 1.12 available here?

If not, what are the differences between this one and the one for sale at Matrix?

The MH CEaW Gold, I purchased from Slitherine, is version 1.12. I don't know if you can buy the two different versions now or just the Matrix one.

Anything with 1.06 or 1.05 etc. belongs to the Grand Strategy Mod which is an entire different version of the original game.

I just had to reinstall everything. If you get the Slitherine MH CEaW Gold version, and want to play the GS mod, don't also install the little mini 1.12.1 patch as it (at least for me) screwed up everything and wouldn't let the mod run.

Welcome to the forum. MH CEAW Gold version 1.12 is what you get if you purchase this game from the Slitherine store. That's often referred to as the vanilla, or standard, game in this forum. The Grand Strategy, GS expansion is a free add on that you can download from Slitherine. It install over the top of the standard game and allows you to either play it or the GS expansion. The GS version of GS available for download is v1.06.
