I am going to attempt to make some FF tonight and had a question:
Do I need to make them in single 40x15mm pieces or if I never intend to put out that narrow a piece is it fine if I make larger 'unit' sized ones that are 80x15 or 120x15?
Thanks!

Either way is fine.

Since once they are down they cannot be moved, unlike PF, there could never be a problem, except to you if you suddenly decided you wanted a different shape.

I have a big fieldwork which looks great until you want it on a hill.
FF Deployment?

Is there a limitation on where it can be deployed? I didn't see any in the rules, but wasn't sure it made sense to be put in say woods.
Thanks,
James

The Gallic army list has field fortifications ("plashed branches") that can ~only~ be placed at a woods edge.
Baueda have something suitable (15FOR-3)
