Hi everyone
It's my first AAr of my second GS game so... I'm a noob . But I hope that it will interest you all.
In the begining of this post I have to sorry for my bad English.
This game was anded about week ago but I'll be writing as if it was in ptogres. Every advices are always welcome.
About the result I will say nothing becouse it's surprise.

September 1
Germany plan to invade Europe
I will launch assault on Copenhagen by land and sea invasion.


My panzer corps will go through Belgium and Holland and then into northern France.
At this stage I don't plan to invade England. We are both noobs but I fear that I will only lost a lot of my man. I want to
control Spain and then want to conquer North Africa






I will send my subs for small hunting and surface fleet will be operating near north coast of Europe.

November 20.

Sorry but i've lost some files with turns.

I've conquerd Poland, and now fighting for Holland and Denmark. My progress is slow so I'll not attack France until spring '40.
At this point I have decided to invade Norvay in spring '40


February 28.

From now I have almoust all remaining files so there should be no big holes.

I was afraid of too many losses and hold any attack until spring. I know I'm very slow but I'm... noob
Good weatcher has come to Europe so I've start my offensive.

March 19

Trying to get best position to attack Brussels. It is conquered at the end of this turn but I've lost one of my Tac... 7 steps in one attack.
I've canceled invasion of Norway until finising of France becouse of this Tac...
My enemy has scatered his fleet so I started to hunt down his war ships.


June 27

After some fights in France without manuver at last I've captured Paris. It was long campain in France.


I've also prepared my force to invade Norway...


... and put defence line in Africa


And here is table with my losses. I was trying to minimise it but in fact I have no comparison so I don't know if this one are big or small.


July 17

Invasion of Norway has started...


I'm also prepareing assault on Greece. German commando infantry will storm the Athens under covering fire of Luftwaffe and Regia Marina.
Italian subs will scout for any British fleet.


September 15

Norway is captured.
After some repairs and upgrades I'm ready to fight for Spain. If all goes well I should be able to reach terrain beneath Zaragoza and run ahead winter.


One turn ago I've launched assault on Athens. British fleet answer with attack on my BB. I'll try to sink some ships becouse it is scatterd again.


First British unit appear in North Afirca. Italian reinforcments has arrived.

October 25

Athens fall in to Germans hands. It was risky operation but ended with sucess. If Royal Navy wasn't split it could be
much more difficult. I' ve started invasion of Crete.
The British are closer to Tobruk.


In Spain I've crossed mountains and launched armoured assault on Zaragoza.


November 14

Zaragoza and Valencia in Germans hands. Looks like all forces moved near Madrid


Heraklion took by Italians. Regie Marina fights small naval task force. The British bring more units near Tobruk. I'll try to cut them from suppy.


December 4

Operation "Supermax" has started. I called it becouse I saw this move in his AAr (thx for the tip )
I'll try to land and cut of British troops. I need some luck- if my opponent didn't left behind any unit he will be in troubles.
Either British force attacked Italian lines near Tobruk.


In Spain i move towards Madrid. The Spanish try to cut me in mountains byt my infantry is there.



January 13

operation "Supermax" in progres. My opponent faild to block my landing force. I'm bringing new units to make strong befence line in this pass.
British troops are withdrawing from Tobruk. I'll start my pursuit


In spain German forces move to surround Madrid.

hahaha this is funny i have my own operation name now!

You should be able to make good progress, but the whole strategy behind my failed operation was to take a port as soon as possible. You have to hit the brits hard in the first 2 turns or they'll stiffen their resistance.

I will again, someday, try this again, but this time i will garrison rome!

I've hit hard Royal Navy at the Mediterranean Sea so ports are not important to me as much as cutting of from supply british forces. I can provide supply for my units from sea. And I haven't as many man to capture ports at this time. It is one way mission- win or die!!!

Cool i'll be following your progress. I am just back to the forums, having been away from my home computer from a long while. Interestingly enough, i'll re-start posting some stuff.

I just need more players to play against

February 2 1941

Finaly I was able to cout from supply british forces. One corp gave his life to block incoming troops nad give time to dig in.
I like those red dots on british army


Madrid almoust completly surrounded. Next turn german brave panzergrenadier with help of tanks and Luftwaffe will assault capital of Spain... then it wil be turn for Gibraltar.


In the Atlantic wolf packs hunting for easy prey.

February 22 1941
Madrid conquered. I'm approaching Gibraltar.



In Africa I've built double line of defence. Situation is completly under german control. Italian tank group will break through british possition.


March 14 1941

Operation "Supermax" almost complete.


Attack on Yugoslavia prepared... Plan is simple- forward.


Next turn I'll attack Gibraltar.

April 3 1941

Plan was simple but I didn't expect so much infantry. I should be quick and painless but it will not... My mistake.


In Africa finishing of last british units. German start advance east.


Gibraltar stand at 5 steps. Next turn I hope it fall into germans hands.

April 23 1941

Offensive in Africa moved near Cairo.
My small diversion with Italian force at Jerusalem didn't work.


Belgrade under siege- one mor turn I hope...

Gibraltar captured. Now when I secured Itally I'll move german fleet and finish british one at Med. See. Then Itally fleet will go for convoy hunting in Atlantic.


May 13 1941

Belgrade captured. Now last step to prepare Barbarosa. I know that I can't build big force and don't have time to set it for best assault... but I have to do any Barbarossa at least to kill as many soviets I can.


In Africa ofesive slowly push forward. And naval battle near Alexandria.


June 2 1941

British fleet escaped from Med.


Jun 22 1941

I've started race for fuel.



July 12 1941

Italian tank group lead ride through desert.


First I'll take Mosul and Kirkuk, then Sarkan.
If there will be any unit in Baghdad then my rear units will strike there. Fuel is much more important to me at this time.


Here is chart with my losses before Barbarossa. I'll start it next turn.

Army waiting for last orders before assault. It looks so small...


Plan for Army group North. I'll try to surround as many units as I can. Armour should be operateing outside of northern forests. Armour assault at Vinnitsa will join Army group South. Establish short defence line, move back if there will be threat of Russian winter offensive.


Army group South assault on Vinnitsa and sorround units in hills, then attack to cut odessa. Defensive lines like Army's North near border of sever winter range.

August 21 1941

Barabrossa has begun. This situation is after my and my opponent first muve... Looks like he decided to fight. I'll try to kill as many soviets as I can.


Near Odessa there is oportunity to sorround russian army.


September 10 1941

My armour group assaulting in Odessa direction is cut off from supply but Russians are to weak to stop Axis.


In the noeth slow advance.


In Middle East race towards oil filds.

September 30 1941

I've closed cauldron near Odessa and I'm trying not to let escape any russian unit.


So many units on swamps- I'll cut them from supply.


First target Kirkuk

November 9 1941

Kirkuk and Mosul taken. This oil is very needed


In southern Russia Axis made progress...


same as in northern USSR


In Finland Soviets launched an assault

November 29 1941

It's time to stop offensive and set up defensive positinos in all russian front. Winteri is comming...


I'll try to catch Odessa in winter.


In Finnland situation doesn't looks good.
