UPDATE - Now I get this crap via mail ...

Absolutely freaking ridiculous - Quality ? I would have thought the prime judge of quality on a digital download would have been speed of delivery - "UP to 12 Hours" ? BIG FAIL ... So whos bright idea was it to ditch digital river then ?

Hi Steven,

as I have replied in the mails to you, this is because you have entered your address wrong on the purchase page. You set your country as USA, but you are in the UK so it failed the country code comparisons and went to manual review. This is a security check to protect you and prevent you. I have contacted them to let them know of the mistake so hopefully the order can still be processed but at teh moment I don't know if it ispossible.

Please check your details very carefully when making a purchase as any inconsistencies at all can result in a failed payment. This is true for any purchase on any site.

Also, please I have edited you post to remove the bad language and be warned we do not tolerate it on the site.

Best Regards

The Slitherine Team

Ian - as I have pointed out to you in response - when I ordered from the store everything was in pounds and my country was UK. when I order from the store now - everything defaults to UK (despite your contention that it should default to United states) - including country and price and VAT. As I have also said the Slitherene store front shows me prices in Dollars.

As a customer - there is, frankly , nothing as remotely annoying as the supplier of a product - and therefore beneficiary of my hard earned cash - blaming the customer for the error in some kind a blanket denial there may be even the slightest possibility with a problem in the way their system works - hence the - in your view - bad language.

Hi Steven

the currency and the country are not the same things. You may have set the currency to pounds but your country was set to USA on the billing information. You are in the UK. There is really no way to avoid this going to a review status as it fails the basic fraud checks. We try to help as much as possible but posting this kind of aggressive message on our forum is far from helpful when the system is working as intended and you did make a small but significant mistake in the billing information you entered. We'll look in to ways of making it less likely peope will make this mistake but the system has to do these checks as I am sure you understand.

I don't want to fight with you about it and we do very much appreciate your custom, and we are working with you to resolve it, but you did enter the USA as your billing address which is incorrect and why this occurred.
