This scenario is about the Scottish invasion of England by King David and he battle that took place in Northallerton, Yorkshire. Any comments and suggestions for improvement would be most welcome. Many thanks to Lars (Cheerfully Insane) for help with the initial play-testing.

Stockwellpete,
I've been updating your scenarios and can't download The Standard, Flodden or Pinkie Cleuch. Get an Error (404) message. All the other update links work just fine. Just these three are a problem.

Appreciate all your hard work.

Sorry Brigz - I am doing a final update on all my current scenarios before sending them off to Slitherine so I am checking everything from armour types to spelling. I will be posting an updated list of all my scenarios later this week. But for these three games the current links to use are . . .

Many thanks. Guess we will be seeing these as "official" scenarios soon? Well done :!:

This scenario has been updated. The English army is 425pts, the Scottish 450pts. The Scots now include the ferocious Galwegians who led the charge on the English line. An optional historical rule is now available - the Scots can also win the battle by destroying the "Holy Standard" unit located behind the centre of the English position.

Please note: there is an earlier version of this battle, designed by me, that is included in one of the official packages of the game.
