I am slowly moving towards a late medieval Danish army, but on the way I have now come very near to finishing an English 100YW continental army. It will be 650 points, what do you people think of it:

1 x FC
2 x TC

1 x BG 4 dimounted men at arms HF H Arm Sup Drill HvyWpn
3 x BG 4 dimounted men at arms HF Arm Sup Drill HvyWpn
3 x BG 6 English Longbow MF Prot Av Drill LB Sw (stakes)
1 x BG 4 Irish Light Horse UnProt Av UnDrill Jav LSp
1 x BG 4 Gascon Knights Kn HArm Sup UnDrill Lance Sw

That is 9 BG's, some quite small. Any good!!!?

Looks more like a Free Company List. My opinion is if you are going to do English bring out more LB.

I'd save the points on the stakes. No-one you are wanting to fight with them will come near. without stakes you are a bit more tempting and thats what you want. The knights are ok I suppose but may not earn their points cost. The HF will slow them down or they will get mobbed when all along after a couple of rash charges.

If you ditch the knights and stakes you get to up your Bow to 8's.
Or up all HW to Heavy armour to enable them to ignore shooting.

I'd be with Bill MC - too few LB and not sure about all the knights either

Maybe I should be doing a Free company with this stuff then. I take the point about the stakes and the knights, and as a free company I'll have to drop the LH but can take LF jav.

I also thought that I could swap the FC for a TC for another 15 points, as the army is small with a lot of sup and mostly Drilled.

The army will be 650 point
