I am thinking of buying this game.. Are these smoke rounds available for artillery? Are there routed units? Ground attack warbirds? Opportunity fire? Special rounds for tanks? Ammo limits for all units?

Are these smoke rounds available for artillery?

No. The only smoke is from burning units.

Are there routed units?

A routed unit is removed from the battle.

Ground attack warbirds?

There are fighter bombers and bombers. The player marks the target point but they are controlled by the game.

Opportunity fire?

Yes, there are threads here about it and a paragraph in my Manual Additions post.

Special rounds for tanks?

Tanks have an AP rating. If a tank gets enough promotions, it gains one special shot.

Ammo limits for all units?

All units get 2 ammo per turn. Promotions can increase that. Unused ammo is carried over to the opponent's turn but then reset for the next friendly turn.

What other unique features to the game?
