Slitherine? I sure hope so. As you know how I've always felt about Digital River. I guess at least Matrixgames finally got the message from us all. So who's going to carry your games now? Your own store? How will you store the data on each gamer? Why not multicross distribution sites like Direct 2 Drive and Gamersgate?

Yes, we've announced it on the news section :)

We're moving the entire library of Slitherine & Matrix games to Plimus.

No more extended download payments - you get free downloads forever :)

We run our own store, we don't use Gamers gate or Direct 2 Drive.

At any rate I'm glad you left them and hopefully you will have an easier setup and game storage system like GG or GoG or D2D or Impulse?

We've been planning this for a year, but it was highly confidential ;)

I see the pricing on the front page is now in US$. Is there a Sterling/Euro price also or do non-US customers have to take a hit on exchange rates and card conversion charges?

So what happens with future downloads of games bought while Digital River was distributing them, especially for people who bought extended downloads there? Will those still be honored by Digital River or will it be possible to download games bought originally through Digital River from Plimus?

DR have an obligation to support you as they would whether we are with them or not as they are the ones who you actually paid and you have the legal contract with.

However, having said that, as a backup we are setting up a support system for anyone who does have issues with DR. We are getting a list of all transaction ever with DR and storing them so we can lookup every single order placed and verify your details and issues a link to download directly from our secure servers. We will also be able to lookup any serials issues.

We intend to fully support anyone who has bought one of our games, no matter how they bought it.

Thanks for that Iain, for although I dont envision/plan on having any issues as described and the assumption/expectation is Slitherine would provide support, it is nice to hear it!, cheers!

Thanks, Iain. That is the type of great support I'd expect from Slitherine but I figured it was better to ask now.
