In the shooting dice table, it is written: Horse pistol: 1 per base shooting from the first rank, 1/2 for 2nd and 3st rank shooting...ok
Should we understand : Horse pistol and determined horse pistol and so.... or only horse pistol ? All type of cavalry pistol in fact...I suppose...
Merci....heu...Thank you

Just Horse.
If Determined Horse is meant then it will be stated as Determined Horse. "Horse" does not include Determined Horse.

Well for the armies in the lists in Wars of Religion the answer is none - as no Determined Horse in that book have shooting capability
Some in later books have Carbine - which will be 1 dice per front rank base and 1 dice per 2 2nd rank bases as per the table on page 116 of the rules.

I realize I made a mistake about pistols, now it's clear, pistol is a weapon but it could be used different way and so why you may have....or not...some dice and/or POA depending of the use of pistols the troop did !
Many thanks Nick !!!

Ok, I'm not a specialist for the period, let's say I'm a "rookie", but I understand now, thanks to you both, the difference between the cavalry rolling fire and impact !
