Just looking at the detachd shot option.
If Bayonet armed shot are detached from a pike unit into a 100% shot unit - Does this increase the value of the shot, or will the total Army value stay the same?

Thanks

That will keep things simple in the detached shot option sheet I am adding to the army list generator.

And also, of course, the total number of BG equivalents in the army must remain unchanged. If you could enforce that in your spreadsheet it would be good.

How does detaching shot practically impact the order of march in the 2nd list? I don't really see any constraints except that it impact it as little as possible. Not sure what that actually works out as. (Not that I think detaching shot would allow one to "game" the order of march, but then again I didn't think of the option of deploying a kiel as a line of 2 deep pike before the other day).

Hi Paul,

while your attention is focused here. At Britcon Rich Love approached me (mistaken identity) about your spreadsheet, about making it pretty. He gave me his email address (which i subsequently lost)... its either rlove or richlove richardlove at btinternet if your interested.

For me couldn't we have an xlsx version?
