Beta V1.3.7 released

A new beta version has been released! Please check your mail or just go back to the original links provided in your first mail to download the new version.

Release Version 1.3.7 (Swords & Scimitars Beta), 5th November 2010
1. Add: New keyboard shortcuts. See the help section for more details.
2. Add: UI: Ability to change a unit's facing using keyboard shortcuts.
3. Add: Keyboard shortcut for selecting the next/previous unit.
4. Add: Keyboard shortcuts for placing/packing stakes, and mounting/dismounting.
5. Add: Keyboard shortcuts for changing a unit's evade setting.
6. Change: The evade options are no longer shown for units that are incapable of evading.
7. Change: Live update now working for future Beta version updates.
8. Fix: UI: OutOfBoundsException in uiplayer.s.AncientsCounter.Draw.
9. Fix: UI: When placing stakes, the required stake images would not have been loaded.
10. Fix: UI: If a figure was loaded in the game or map editor, then loaded and unloaded in the army generator, then required in the game or map editor, it would not get loaded.
11. Fix: UI: Unit formation layouts were not being updated when the map was rotated.
12. Fix: All DAG army list issues reported in the forum.
13. NOT FIXED: Adding or removing stakes in the editor function not working.
14. NOT FIXED: Some Crusader images are too small.

To fast!!! great job boys :wink:

PD: i find a strange thing, a LF units with allways evade that dont evade!!! lose 2 javelin units, engaged by a HF unit and a cavalry unit... ups :roll:

If i see it again i send to you the save... i do more tests and dont have the same problem with LF units, all works fine... i try to repeat the same situation but units evade fine... damn PC gremlims :twisted:

The following battles listed for 1.36 don’t appear in this list of historical battles
1.Add: Battle: Dysert O’Dea 1318AD, Feudal English vs. Medieval Irish. Requires Swords and Scimitars to play.
2.Add: Battle: Durazzo 1081AD, Byzantines vs. Sicilian Norman. Requires Swords and Scimitars to play.
3.Add: Battle: Tichenbrai 1106AD, Anglo-Norman vs. Feudal French. Requires Swords and Scimitars to play.

I've tested Mazinkert in alls evade options and the game worked fine.
