Opponent Finder

Cross posting here and on FoG Ren 'aspect' of the forum.
I just wondered if it were possible to seperate out the opponent finder strand of the forum from Tournament info? I notice that on the Ancients side of FoG going back as many as ten pages there were less than a dozen posts seeking opponents - the vast majority of which were unanswered but viewed.
These posts were often pushed even further down the postings by the number of stickied topics making it really soul destroying trying to find other players.
Sadly I dont have a club on my doorstep, and living where I do not too many opponents (and even fewer shows/competitions within reasonable travelling distance) I rely heavily on public transport which for anyone whose ever been to Suffolk and attempted to use it - it harks back to the Dark Ages
Regards
Paul

Well if you are in Ipswich you have got a fast train line to Norwich and/or London and can get to Chelmsford where there is a club (sadly it meets on Sundays which can be a no-go area as far as NXEA are concerned).

Not much use for club nights but sure you could get to some two day events in the southern part of the country.

Hi Nosher, I escaped from Suffolk a couple of years ago! There is a decent club in Colchester, I'll see if I can find out if they have any FOG going on.

Hi Paul
I recognised your forum name!
Are you getting much gaming in these days? I remember our games at your place very well - particularly the Forlorn Hope battles
If I am ever down your way ( a bit unlikely unfortunately) I will certainly give you a game of FOG, or if you are ever up in central Scotland looking for a game give me a shout
Dave

nosher, there is a club in Chelmsford which plays some FoG. Today we had a visitor from Ipswich so it is POSSIBLE to cross the border unnoticed (you will need to change your currency and accent though...)
