Just had a game appear out of no-where, under 'opponents turn', which purports to be a Silarus River battle against the (Romans), last turn dated 31- DEC- 1969

HA! HA! There wasnt even a X86 chip then or a PC. Must be the Mainframe version of FOG. (OR WRG 3rd or 4th edition)

To add insult to injury I can't even get rid of it by 'claiming' it. It says that I am not in the game so can't claim it - error 26 (if I remember correctly)

It's a bug.
Happened to a number of us at some point.
Just be patient, and the kind people in support will remove it for you. :)

Hello,

I now have several (8) games sporting the December 1969 date. I think this happens when the other player lets them sit too long - which I think is related to a month. I have been able to claim a game or two, but I think this option is only presented for a few days.

Like others, I cannot get rid of them, and this is starting to clog my display of games which I am waiting for a move on.

It's soundwaves still travelling through space & time from Iggy & the Stooges singing(?) "1969". "Was 1969 don't care, All across the USA. Another year for me & you, Another year with nuthin to do, etc.
