Well gents, fortune smiled upon me and the opportunity for Sea Lion presented itself and by June 27, 1940 London was mine.

Having never attempted a Sea Lion before, I'm wondering about convoys to the UK. The GS manual says:

"The Primary City / Port is Glasgow,
followed by Liverpool, Cardiff, Belfast and
finally Halifax if London and the other
destinations are captured."

I'm assuming if I leave Liverpool or any of the other ports in allied hands, that is where convoys will go to. If capturing London means convoys go only to Halifax will someone please let me know?

BTW, just a warning to you allied players, don't get too complacent about Sea Lion. Even a rookie like me can pull it off now and then

I think the convoys will automatically go to Halifax is London is captured. The other ports are shown in case London is still British and the main port (Glasgow) is captured by the Axis. Then the alternate British ports will be used. The chance of this occuring is rather small. Usually the Germans need to sneak a transport to the Irish Sea and land directly in port.

Well, I'll find out soon enough. The wording of the manual would lead one to believe that convoys will go to Halifax if London and the other destinations were captured. Since all the other destinations haven't been captured, yet, I assumed they would still attract convoys.

In my game with Plaid (1.06 GS), the convoys went to Halifax as soon as London was taken by the Axis.
