How do I obtain a user manual for the Battlefield Academy, I am at a loss how to exit the programme and need to know the keyboard shortcuts etc.

There is a link to the online manual on the start menu. You exit the game using the main menu. If you mean how to exit a battle, then you need to surrender (the top left X) to get back to the campaign screen, and from there the main menu.

See my thread Manual Addendum. It has a list of hotkeys.

From the Windows start menu> programs> slitherine> you should see a icon for the manual. It is an online pdf but you can save it to your computer.
