I think it depends upon which Amazon country you order from.

According to Amazon UK due for publication yesterday(12/10/10) but now showing as temporarily out of stock.
I just e-mailed them to ask what is happening as my order shows not yet despatched but an estimated delivery time now of sometime next week.
If I get a reply I will update the information here.

Well they got back pretty quickly with:
I checked on your order and found out that "Trade and Treachery (Field of Glory: Renaissance)" is temporarily out of stock. As it is unavailable at the moment, we are unable to dispatch it straight away.
No time for supply given or explaination as to why an order placed two months ago cannot be fulfilled as now temporarily out of stock.
Certainly didn't say not yet published so maybe it is out officially.
Not happy though with Amazon on the whole FOGR supply issue but I don't have a local book shop!

Isn't 12/10/10 December in the UK?

No - in the UK we put the day first followed by the month. So 12/10/10 is the 12th of October. When I initially ordered from Amazon UK they quoted a 14th October delivery date (and that's still against my order), but I see that the Online status has now changed to "Temporarily Out of Stock"!
Amazon wasn't so good with the rules - I cancelled in the end and bought through Caliver Books. If it is published I should be able to pick up a copy at SELWG in London this week end.
Will wait and see!

January for Clash of Empires -

Must admit I thought T&T was going to be November.

December

Well that's a blow. How on earth did Amazon get it so badly wrong?
In theory that would give me more time to paint up the extra figures I need to bring my Italian Wars armies up to FOG requirements but as I don't have the army lists.....!
Only thing to do in the meantime is paint up enough to make, for instance, my five elements of Stradiots into eight so I have two units of four, likewise Genitors and another two elements of French Gendarmes to give me three units of four as mounted in fours seem to be the standard from the starter armies in the rulebook.
Are all Landsknecht and Swiss arquebusiers light foot? If so I can start rebasing those too from the medium foot elements as at present.

As Ospery are publishing the books on behalf of Slitherine it is logical to presume the first (November) batch will go to Slitherine to supply those (like myself) who have preordered thru the Slitherine shop etc. The December date on the Ospery site, I suggest, is when thay will have enough copies done to suppply direct theselves or else they have production problems and delayed the print schedual.
Either way, I have placed a request for clarification of dates with the Slitherine "On line Ordering & Support" forum and will pass on the response in due course..... Unless RBS send his boys round to investgate first

Hi all,
JDM has confirmed that the release date for T&T has been pushed back to December. He said this is the safe date but if they can get the pre-orders out before hand they will.
As I suggested earlier, this is more likely due to Osprey having issues in their production stream/schedual which Slitherine has no control over.

In line with a Xmas release date, JDM is now the pantomime villain, so the boo hiss & he's behind you shouts are entirely valid.

The good news is "Clash of Empires" is still planned for 10 Jan 2011
