Looks like there is a 130 line limit to the csv. I removed two lines and no more error. Now to figure out how to cut from the middle.

More likely there is a 128 squad type limit - don't have the code in front of me to check.

You can always remove squads which aren't being used in your scenario.

I removed 2 lines which gave me 130 lines or 128 units.

I was hoping you would say that it will be increased to 256. It will be a pain to make scenario specific csv.

Alternately have user campaigns look for the stock squads.csv for stock units and non-stock csv can be kept in the campaign folder with a limit of 128 each.

I can increase the number without too much trouble. But campaign specific squads files were kind of the point. Why would you want to keep all the Europe units in a Pacific campaign (as an example).

But I'll try and get the upped limit into 1.4

More is good and mostess is bestess.

I am hoping that you continue to add units to the builds and that will get to 128 in no time.

I spent quite a bit of time this afternoon creating a Pacific only csv. With US and Japan I have 55 units and I still need to add some more. Who knows what Merr will come up with next.
If I add the Commonwealth nations units I suppose that will be mostly British kit. I would rather have one Pacific csv.

Then there is the East Front and minor countries...

Thanks in advance if you can change the limit.

What you should do is have an xls file with all your unit data. Then a separate sheet which feed from teh parent file. The seprate sheets should only read the data for the campaign. E.g. I have 200 units in the master list on page 1. On page 2 I only show the units for campaignX ( say 60), page 3, only for campaignY ( say 80). Then put the campaign specific squads data in that campaign folder. Your master list of squads data is never used directly in game as it is too big. This way you edit your data on teh mast lage so that the data will change in all the campaigns that use that unit. It is a little fiddly like this but means it will always work.

Whatever we set the limit to you will hit it eventually so a system like this is going to be needed at some point.

I have Open Office but don't own any Microsoft office software. I have never had to use excel on the job either. I don't know how to create an xls but OO can export one.

I take what you are saying is that I could create a page for say, each country, then copy and paste to a campaign csv?

I successfully created an xls with the master list and my add ons on sheet 1 and just my Pacific units on sheet 2. I have a blank csv with just the headers.

Where's the French? Looking forward to 39-40!
