Slitherine

In the French errata it lists the musketeers as 8 points when part of a pike and shot BG but after 1643 and they can be used separately it lists the musketeers as 7 points (see below). Why is there a difference in the point cost when they appear to be the same or am I mis-reading something.

The muskets cost 1pt extra when grouped with the pikes because the muskets become protected.
