I decided to start off by building the Later Imperial Spanish for my first FoG Renaissance army. The first thing that I am doing is to build a Later Tercio, and I'm going to document my progress doing this on Sword and Sandal Gaming blog. So far, I only posted my first steps, priming and drybrushing the figures (which are by Testudo), but for anybody interested, you can check it out at the link below.

To make a nice Tercio, you can put the armoured pikemen in first rank, and the unarmoured ones in rear ranks. This was the distribution of the pikemen in the tercios.
I like the Testudo minis very much, do they include the spears? or it should be ordered separately?

Spears have to be ordered seperately. Testudo sell them and they appear identical to the Xyston sells. I just got my shipment yesterday and they really are just wonderful figures.
