A battlegroup of four Light Horse is shot at. It loses a base and goes disrupted.

Next turn it is charged. It evades, it doesn't get particularly far, just far enough so that one base reaches, and bursts through, some Medium foot. The pursuing battlegroup catches the evader in the rear.

All good so far.

In the Impact the, by now fragmented, Light Horses loses the melee it breaks and loses a base. Only two bases left.

Now the tricky part.

Does it burst through the Medium Foot again? 100% of the BattleGroup is now in front of the Medium Foot and it goes straight through them again?

Once it reaches the MF and bursts through it ends up on the far side of the MF.

You only end up on both sides if you can interpenetrate.

Only those bases that reach the unit being burst through though isn't it?

I.e. the other two bases didn't reach the unit that was being burst through.

That is interpenetration Dave, not bursting through.......

"Move the evading or routing battle group to the full extent of its move. If its move does not completely clear all friends, it is placed beyond any battlegroup(s) it is currently bursting through if there is room for it beyond, otherwise it is destroyed and removed from the table."
