Shouldn´t the force selection screen appears AFTER the mission summary is explained and you have a chance to see the actual terrain where you had to fight?

I had no idea of what kind of forces are appropiate for a new scenario. More infantry, this or that kind of tank? No clue...

It's a fair point. The current flow is a mixture of historical momentum and the fact that we think it provides more challenge this way. By and large the force selection is more a matter of play style than win or lose the battle - we try and ensure that you always have the troops you will need in most of the main campaign missions.

Shouldn´t be more challenging (and fun) if you had to choose your own forces and risk to enter in battle with innapropiate selection and had to deal with that?
