Detached Shot: p183 last paragraph?

What does the last paragraph in the left column of p. 183 refer to? The previous 4 paragraphs explain how and when you can detach shot from mixed BGs.

Does it mean that all shot bases in mixed BGs can be detached and the pikes combined into pike only BGs? Does the limit of "up to half such BGs" apply to this?

Or is this paragraph just repeating the first one?

It refers to odd mixed BGs in lists that you have not yet seen. e.g. Longbowmen and billmen (+ pikes and arquebusiers) in Elizabethan English armies.
