Cannot save for the first time

I have been a very happy camper for the past month but now I have an issue. My save screen is full and now when I hit escape to save my game, nothing happens. I am into the seventh Battle of Normandy scenario and cannot save it. Can you help me please. Thanks. Also, on your rankings screen, what is the difference between "battles" and "games" since they are not the same number?

That is very odd. I will have to check it out, but I haven't come across anything like that before.

Does the save menu come back if you move out some of the LSF files in the My Documents\My Games\BBCBA\SAVES folder?

Games is basically the number of times you start up the game, while battles is the number of times you have gone into a battle. The metrics are pretty simple atm - we are working on better ones, but need to come up with ones that can't be abused.

Cheers

Pip

I've seen this too on my XP machine but not my Vista one. I haven't notice my Save screen full (i have 5 files I think) but when I hit ESC, nothing happens. It seems to be random so not sure what is going on here. I don't recall seeing this until I applied the latest update but could be coincidence. I played all the way through the Desert campaign with no problem for weeks but started noticing this in Normandy and now Bulge.

Thanks Pip,

Deleting LSF files brought the save game feature via ESC back to life. :P

Is it possible that it is just taking a long time for the screen to come up? That you are perhaps pressing it twice and thus cancelling? Hmm - I guess that would be pretty hard not to spot :(.

I'll take another look for the next update, but it's something that I can't repeat here.

Cheers

Pip,

Did you say a second ESC hit will cancel the first request? I am sure I did that. :P
