Just out of interest & not a complaint, but why do muskets only cost a point more than arquebuses given the muskets get twice the range although at half effect ?
Number crunching suggests that the 2 dice at long range can be enough to cause a significant downside for the arquebusier unit.

Aq units tend to be bigger maybe? They wont be at long range for long either? They can sit in terrain and become invulnerable to pike & shot ?

The points cost is based on the relative effect of arquebuses and muskets against all comers, and not just on their relative effect against each other.
