Shooting Rules

I've been waiting for this to hit the threads but maybe it will when book 3 and 4 come out.
For all those people with large amounts of Bows in there armies what do you think of the no plus 2 when shot at by shot/artillery.
Since I have no bows in my army but having fought a couple with I think its very different in a shoot out between Shot and bow.

Seems a good way to model the advent of fire arms.
This is the era where it really was transitioning fast. Also probably make the whole european descent on the non-firearm world a bit historically bloody even if the non-europeans win.

Note that bows have better POAs against mounted troops than shot, and mounted bows have better POAs against foot than mounted firearms do.
This means that bows will inflict less base losses, but will inflict more cohesion tests.
OTOH most bow-armed mounted will take their CTs at -1 when shot at by firearms.

BTW not disagreeing with this rule at all, I like the fact that Bow cavalry have a risk if they go for a shooting fight with firearm troops.
