Penguish Civil Wars

I would like to point out at this juncture that our 15mm Penguins were designed to represent a Penguish Civil War quite similar to the great civil war fought in Britain in the 17th century.
As such, we have regiments of flipper which are composed of 12 pikemen (armed with icicles) and 24 shot (armed with snowballs).
Not to be outdone by their infantry cousins, our regiments of seal are mounted on leopard seals and include a flamboyant captain who is armed with a lance (icicle). There are two penguins mounted on each seal, but one may represent cavalier type horse by leaving a penguin off and pressing him into service as brigaded shot.
Both the horse and foot come with standard-bearers, icicles with squids impaled on them.
The one issue is how to represent gonnes. We are considering having something suitable made, perhaps a whale head poking out of the ice spitting out a distasteful penguin, but trust you will be able to think of something in the meantime.
