How do I know what version i have?

I just bought/downloaded the game. (18/09/2010) Does this version have all the patches already built in?

When you start CEaW; but before loading a turn or starting a game, there's version number in the lower right of screen. What is that version number?

I had the same question but unfortunately I can't seem to locate any such number, at any point in the start-up process. Perhaps I have a unique version?
But in all seriousness, I'm actually quite confused about what the latest version is. Is it 1.06 with the 1.07 patch, or 1.12? Or something else? Actually, it would be great to have in one place a list of all the different versions and in temporal order. Is there such a thing? I'm even confused about what the "vanilla" game is. Although I suspect that's what I have I also read in one forum that Tula isn't in the vanilla version and it is my version. Any help greatly appreciated!

When you start up CEaW if you see the Pick Game menu then you're playing the vanilla (or standard) game (first screen cap below). For both the vanilla and the GS expansion the version you're playing is shown in the lower right hand corner of the screen in the second cap below.
