CAESAR'S CAMPAIGNS (REVISED & UPDATED)

It is now some time since I created the original series of Caesar’s battles and I feel that an update to the scenarios is overdue.

The changes are not only to address balance issues (some of the revisions to Field of Glory since it’s introduction have made minor
alterations to the relative capabilities of a number of troop types). I have also taken the opportunity to add minor graphical details to
some of the maps (which also have a potential effect on the balance in a number of the battles). Additionally, I have improved some
unit labelling (in my early scenarios I didn’t bother to the same extent that I did in the later ones). Here and there I have added new
unit graphics that have now become available.

Each and every battle has had some changes, and I have re-playtested all of them. I think that with almost all the battles the player
stands a reasonable chance of taking either side to victory against the AI without having to adjust the Handicap option.

I have listed all of Caesar’s battles of conquest in chronological order (so if you play them in order you get to land in Britain at the
appropriate point during the Gallic campaign).

Note – I have not altered the file names, so please be aware that these new versions will overwrite the older ones (and possibly this
could cause problems with multiplayer battles if one player has the new version and the other doesn’t)

thank you for your hard work, maximvs.

also, can you please upload a pack with all of them? it would be easier for all of us, as we want all scenarios :)

OK, here's the full set all in one pack ...

http://www.mediafire.com/?19u211qu3mab11f

Just unpack this into your Slitherine folder (look in My Documents for XP users) and it will add the contents to your existing FieldOfGlory Scenarios, it will only overwrite any scenarios with the same name (i.e. earlier versions)
