I would love to see variants of the game eg Pacific theatre, Russian front, Vietnam and what about WW1?

By the way, a great 'easy to get into' game!

Would be great on the Nintendo Wii.

Thanks - did you download your RAF bonus pack?

2 more Bonus packs coming soon that will let you control the Luftwaffe and Red Airforce so entire European theatre.

Hi - yes.

As an aside - I am red/green colour blind. Given the ground colours and or night scenes, is it possible to much more highlight the target boxes?

I'll mention it to the developer but the code base is pretty much locked down now and only new content is coming so I doubt anything can be done at this stage unfortunately :(

Heh, Iain you could go into politics the way you answered the question. I'm looking at this game and trying the demo and am interested in other theaters especially the Pacific. Any possibility?

Also, do you know if joystick play will be fixed?

Looks like a fun game so far even if it does make me a bit carsick from the motion.

The campaigns are all European theatre, so it probably isn't hard to guess what's coming next!

Luftwaffe
Red Air Force

Ok but sorry this doesn't answer my questions.

Although the campaigns are all european theater this could be so far. So I'm wondering if there will be campaigns in the future in the pacific or maybe north africa theaters even in expansion packs.

Also and important, will the joystick problem be fixed? I have a programmable js that I use for ms flight simulator that I think would work great with this game.

We dont have any plans beyond what I've said here right now.

What exactly is the joystick issue?

First of all, there's something wrong with the forum. Every time I make a post it shows as invalid or something and I have to click submit again. Problem is half the time I forget and have to repost. Pain in the neck.

About the joystick, this was posted earlier and I also tried it. You have to keep your finger on shift or it stops working properly. But if you keep your finger on shift (which you shouldn't have to do anyway) a window comes up after 8 seconds. Anyhow, it needs to be fixed. Feel free to try it and you'll see.

Yeah, I mentioned that in my review over at CombatSim.com.

You can shut off that "Sticky Keys" situation, so you don't get the pop-up.

As to the throttle, if you are using a joystick, you have to keep the shift key depressed to keep the props turning.

Believe it or not, there are some serious sim folks that like a break and some mindless arcade shoot-em-up on occasion, and prefer a joystick. Heck, mine is
an X-52 Pro HOTAS with separate rudders even.

Now, getting those in this simplified sim would be a kick!

I will send this thread to the developer and see if they can offer any help. It would be good to hook in to the flight sim crowd if we could.

Thanks - just so you know this is the developer of the game so this is good to try. If it works let us know and we'll make it official.

I got a serial number invalid so I guess it doesn't work in the demo.

Ah no sorry - this is only for the full game.

Ok, but if it doesn't work in the demo I'll have no way of trying it to see how it works in the game.

Understood but the developer wants to know if it fixes the issue before rolling it out in to the demo. CAn you someone with the game confirm if it does?

This might sound dumb but why can't the developer try it? If someone is making a game about airplanes and it includes joystick control, wouldn't it make sense for that person to have a joystick?

Of course it works for them. The issue is always it doesnt work for end users with different joysticks or different software. That's the joy of PC's....

Or it could just be you're holding the joystick differently or on a different menu screen when ou try it. All of these are major causes of bugs!

I'll give it a go, and let you know.

Thanks!

___UPDATE___ Well, that didn't take long, and it WORKS!

Just like the mouse drive one, shift/ctrl do the up and down throttle, and when set, hands off, and the engines keep spinning.

Wunnerful!

My poor, cramped up fingers thank you again...
