Routed units providing support

I just noticed in my latest game, when I attacked alongside my own routed unit that it provided support and reduced the pursuing unit's dice by 1.

Now.....this may be a feature, representing the pursuing unit being busy slashing the back of routers..........but it sure looks weird....and wouldn't the attackers be a little put off by those friends routing past them too?

This was brought up in the past multiple times... Slith/Hexwar always maintained it was just a display bug (or relic) and those routers were not providing any actual combat support....

However , just recently Cothyso basically (using the editor) proved that it wasnt cosmetic but they were actually effecting the game... ( I cant find any of tthose posts and screenies he took, i think maybe he had them in the beta thread and not in the tech area...)

So, it is a bug, but whether Slitherine is working to fix or even aware of it I dont know.....

Before a unit was routed it was in close combat with one of the units which are now fighting, so its degraded their ability to fight already so it still provides support i.e. by reducing the number of attacks of the now fighting unit. A rare event but correct. Keith
