If the HF cannot pass the LF by dropping a file then they stop as soon as they reach the friendly LF.

They would still stop unless the charge was involuntary, ie they failed a CMT and had to charge

Next time, delay the charge, expand your LF, then the enemy LH can't escape?

there is no place to expand if stationnary, and as you must expand before advance ..... my opponent can't cath my LH easily without danger for is LF.

You could charge the LF into the LH rear, they can't evade due to your HF so they take a rear charge, go disrupted and are stuck next turn, with luck for another rear charge from the HF. If the LH is stuck fighting the LF then you can hit the LH in the rear with your heavier stuff, cause auto cohesion loss and probably slaughter the LH. All the LF need to do is hold out long enough.

I think LF can only charge other LF.

no skirmisher can charge skirmisher.
in this example the LF are facing like the HF down page. SO no rear charge.
