This map.

Advice as to what went wrong? The map works in hotseat mode.

My uneducated guess .... Cannot have reinforcements except for hotseat games?
Deduction ... None of the other MP games have reinforcements.

Also ... (perhaps unrelated) ... Why did you include a Functions.bsf file to your scenario folder?

Sorry to be a bud-in-ski

Hrm, I hope that is not the case. I don't see why they'd work in hotseat, but not traditional MP.

As for the functions.BSF, I included it because I am a noob and don't know what I'm doing when it comes to this stuff.

This is the error you would get if your maps don't match. Suggest you use new map names with a version number to avoid this.

Strange. There's no possible way they can't match - it's the only version. Ah, well.

Thanks for the response, maybe the other guy did something to the files by accident.

Downloaded them and unzipped them into the correct (I think) folder after deleting the previous files....

C:\Users\Paul\Documents\My Games\BBCBA\MULTIPLAYER

Aha. Ok. They actually go in the directory you installed the game in, so something like C:/Slitherine/etc/etc/Multiplayer/

That should fix it.

Moved the whole Maps_by_Insidious folder to the correct (this time) folder but now I get a message telling me I need to download custom content. Is this because I initiated the challenge?

Probably. You started the challenge with the map in the wrong place, so now it's looking there for it. We basically need to have pip or someone delete the whole game on their side of the server.

Set up a new challenge with my name as the password and we'll try again :)
