Shooting 2nd line MF

With a battle group of front line HF ( no shooting capabilities ) and 2nd line of MF with bow, in the shooting phase does the MF shoot with 1 die per stand or 1 die per 2?

One dice per base in the first shooting rank. Not one dice per base shooting in the first rank.
These mixed BGs seem to work very well against skirmishers and mounted.
