What were you doing when this occured?
Also, do you have any kind of multi-monitor setup? The more information you can provide the better!
I have put in some checks to prevent this from occuring thanks to another report. But would be good to get a solid reason why...

Twice for me,
As I clicked multiplayer from the main screen the game just freezes up ?
no multi-monitor setup

As far as I remember I was just moving around the battlefield, though I may have clicked something.
Two monitor setup. Playing in 1920x1200x32.
Error has happened several times.

I'm assuming this is a different bug? If so, can you post the error.log file (from My Documents\My Games\BBCBA) immediately after the freeze.

error here too..semms to happen if i move too many units at one time or if there is alot of activity going on.

You should only be able to move one unit at a time
. I've added some checks around the places which can call it, some hopefully whatever is causing it is now fixed. Should be included in the next update, which is coming soon.
