I have just suffered a series of crashes while viewing the replay of an opponents turn. At the same moment in the replay the game freezes and I have to ctrl+alt+del to get to the desktop and close the game.

The scenario is Bocage Village and my opponents name is Toten. What more can I offer as information?

Is there any chance you saved the game back to the server during the replay? That can cause issues.

If not I will grab the game once I am back in the office tomorrow.

Cheers

It happened the first time I watched the replay, I certainly didn't start viewing it and then close the game.

Very odd! It looks like whoever you were playing may have stepped away from their turn, for, errr, about 6 hours? So the game is trying to play back all that time. I found if I just waited (took between 2 to 5 minutes) then it will continue correctly and you can complete the turn! I will add a task to deal with these long delays (currently it just tries to power through all the ticks as quickly as it can, so I will give some feedback and update the cursor and screen periodically), although to be honest the playback mechanic is getting some work at the moment, and the new approach (while adding cool stuff like rewind etc) will also remove these kinds of issues.

But at least you can (eventually!) continue the game.

Cheers
