Adding a Country

Only do this to your MyDocuments\MyGames\BBCBA\Campaigns folder.

Inside my Campaigns folder I pasted the Desert campaign folder and renamed it.
I then had or created the following folders

campaign name folder = text1.txt campaign.txt squads.cvs icon.dds (country).dds(small flag) uniticons.dds

core\anim = country victory marker.dds and .s4f

data\battle\scripts = no changes

data\battle\units = 3D models and text

data\battle\unit textures = skins for models and destroyed skins

data\scripts = functions

data\texts = appears to use the text in the campaign folder

data\ui\textures = dds for UI, OBA, Air/ sideicon#.dds (flag for country)(haven't got it to work yet)

data\ui\textures\icons = dds for purchase screen and lower ui

scenarios = you create

You need to:

rename or create 3D models, skins, flags, ui icons

edit squads.cvs = add the units renamed

edit text1.txt = add the units renamed in 2 places

This should be enough to get someone started on a mod. Maybe Finland using German kit for Winter War?

2 questions

1. Victory flags. I have it set, but still can't get it to work in game. Is there a solution to this

2. Is there any way of using the same 3d model for multiple units.

I want to make multiple units by using the us airborne model, but want to give each unit different skins.

I made the top post before Slitherine added the folder tree to the STUB and some of mine is wrong or not needed. I'll have to edit it.

The 3D models, including objects and flags, have the graphic name inside their file.

For instance if you want to mod the German flag 3D model you must name your graphic the same as the original German flag graphic.

Amaz_Ed made me some flag graphics and Merr was able to view the 3D file and rename the graphic it looks for.

For your soldiers, again you would have to create different 3D files from the original, with graphic names that you used. That doesn't mean changing the 3D model itself, just the coding.
