Just curious to see what sort of activity we have going on.

I could list the guys I am currently playing (likely will later).

But I am obviously not playing everyone.

Sign on to the list by adding your name to a post guys.

I'll update the list as we get names.

DSWargamer (me of course) to start the list off.

I've been seeing some neat things happen and some depressing things happen :)
Had an M16 shrug off more rounds than a Tiger could live through. Maybe they were going right through it :)

And along the way seeing some neat hiddy spots. Those playing the mostest, will likely end up being the most dangerous opponents cause we is seeing all the best places to use at the best times.

I'm finding I like the desert more currently. More elbow room. The Germans seem to have the edge in speed in the desert.
I have seen both sides get their air support blown out of the sky (so don't think your Me 262 is safe eh)
Seen people forgetting to face the enemy BEFORE shooting.
And people using their anti air as anti personnel. Risky as I like it watching for planes.

Infantry is indeed dangerous to armour. And mortars are worth learning to use well, as they make a difference.

Shoot and scoot is something of a case of learning which vehicles do it better than others.
Tigers and Panthers I have found die like the rest, but they are still dangerous as hell.
And trucks are not a good idea treating them as expendable. Mobility I have found is key in a lot of battles. Granted tracks is safer.

I kicked off my first multiplayer game this evening (with Zonso).

Not played any kind of wargame in multiplayer before, so I'm sure I'll get my backside kicked! :)

Mistakes will certainly cost you. You can take out a Tiger in 1 hit if he gets too close to the forest.

So far, my games seem to be at best a 1 in 4 for performance level evaluation. Not good enough for my liking :)

Playing quite regullary too. Got around 11 games going ATM, and some very nice oponents.

Infantry can indeed be deadly. One of the bulge MP maps has a simetrical flank with an already deployed AT gun, and infront of it, some forests. Both my games got my german infantry rush-deployed there and they surprise slaughtered tanks moving through there, quickly falling back afterwards to regain morale.

Just letting my current opponents know, between 14th and 22nd of the month I will be out of home and likely have trouble getting online (I have no real knowledge of how readily I can gain access at my mother's place who I will be visiting) with anything like my current frequency.

They have internet, just unsure my wireless laptop will have convenient access. I likely will manage if I can take along a spare cable. Will post a comment to that effect when I get down there.

I will jump into the MP fray when I have a few more games under my belt to better understand the gameplay and mechanics, and my 8th iOS game, and first iPad-only game, wrapped up by the end of the month. I also have to boot out of OSX into Windows (Boot Camp) to play so it's less easy for me to just jump into the game.

One thing we multi players types is learning fast, those of us playing many games, is some parts of the maps are just plain dangerous :)

There are some buildings that just seem to be grief magnets :)

First person in them seems to die.
