Looting points.

I understand that the points available for successful looting of an opponents baggage is either 2 or 10% of the total army points, whichever is the greater?

If so, why in a recent 500 pt game was my side awarded only 3 points; should it not have been 5 points?

Edit: of course it is % of break points, not total points!! Idiot!

Which raises another question. Does that not favour armies that have a smaller number of, likely, superior BGs against armies that have a high number of lesser BGs? Would not a fixed percentage of army points be fairer? So 1% of a 400 pt army would yield 4 and so on.

The points are supposed to be 10% of the armies total points I thought so you would have thought 500 point horde versus 500 point elite would make the camps even. I have not really looked that closely after looting a camp to see how many points it got me.

I thought it was 10% of break points. So, capturing the camp of a horde army is much more rewarding.... but much more difficult to achieve because you can't sprint round the edges of a horde army in the same way as you can for a small high-calibre army.

Likewise...I think it is 10% of break points. So the larger the army the more points you get.

It is , I have lost enough camps to know for sure!

(there is some rounding at play though, so you lose just as many points for having a 40 bp army vs a 44 bp army)

Too bad you're the "voice of experience" on that one!
