Heavily Armoured or Armoured if you have the choice I understand the FOG difference is it the same.

Pretty much the same against mounted. Against foot, however, it is unlikely to make much difference as armour advantage doesn't count against shot.

OTOH you won't want to be attacking pike & shot BGs with mounted anyway, so armour still pretty useful for cavalry.

Shot is'nt including pistols is it?

Dave, FoGR Armoured is FoG:AM Protected. FoGR HA is FoG:AM Armoured. So not quite the same. Protected means something VERY different in FoGR.
