Slitherine

About a year ago or so, on the old slitherine forums, somebody made a post about a Roman Empire themed turn based strategy game that is currently in development. I remember i used to visit the official site of that game quite a bit, but after a re-format a few months ago i lost all my bookmarks, and i never really bothered to look the site up again until now. But i just can't remember the name of the game or the URL to the website. Can somebody help me out. I remember seeing a post by Iain on their official forums, where he offered the developer help and tips on which publishers were legit and which ones to steer clear of. The game itself i don't remember much about, except that it was REALLY cool looking, and it had personell management in it, kind of like the old Koei series of games like Romance of the three kingdoms and so on. You could assign different NPCs to different tasks based on their skills, and you had to take into account such things as loyalty and such, when considering how large of an army to assign to a particular underling.


Does anyone know which game i'm thinking about?

Never mind, it suddenly hit me. I can't believe it, i spent all day today trying to remember the damn name since it was driving me mad that i couldn't remember, and all of a sudden it hits me like 2 minutes ago:


Imperium: Rise of Rome!


A simple google search confirms that that is indeed the game i was thinking about. Stupid brain... I spend all day thinking about it, only to have it hit me out of the blue when i'm NOT thinking about it anymore...
