The same like a truck!!
We are talking here about a 8-wheeled recon vehicles, which we can't compare with a 4 wheeled truck!!

That always bothered me too... 8 wheel-drive I imagine should be quite hard to get stuck. But I guess if even tanks get stuck....

You are right!
Even, tanks get stuck!
BUT the possibility can't be so high, like by the trucks!

It can be changed easily but it doesnt happen that often in games I've played.

i wonder if the idea of being bogged down, is a way to simulate the reliability of a vehicle. While a given unit on paper may be able to scale that cliff, and go though that mud, the reality might be, that 10% of the time, it breaks down. This kind of thing really plagued the Germans on the Eastern Front, when they rushed the new Panther and Elephant into production..... the bugs had not been worked out, and many broke down.... Also, I was watching a show "overhauling" on cable tv, and they found a Panther tank in Poland, that had been deliberately sabotauged during production of the flywheel or brakes or something like that... interesting.!!

Break down & bodded gdown are different. Wheeled vehciles have a chance to bog off road. Unreliable vehicles have a chance to break down every turn.

It seems that TRACKS count as off-road then, since I just had my 8-wheeled Puma bog down on one. But still, it's not like I ran that puma accidently into a lake there...

Even modern day 8-wheeled combat vehicles get stuck off road very easily.

Try to explain it again!
The point is:
The matematical value in THIS game of BOGGING chance of PUMA is the SAME with a TRUCK!
8 wheel= 4 wheel!
Don't you think, that something is wrong!
Of course, it's possible that I am wrong, but...
