I now only see a Bosporan(early) list in the DAG and no mid and late lists. The XML files do seem to be there in ROR directory of armies in Windows explorer, but they are not listed int he DAG. The early list does appear correct now.

Looking at why the 2 later lists are not visible.

I think we should conduct a poll as to whether the customers want Chris to have them back.

Who are these "Bosporans" that Batesmotel keeps talking of? I've never heard of them. I think he may have dreamed them up one night, and the dream was so lucid he now believes they are a real FoG army list.

Think about it Bates, would they really write a list that had EVERY super troop from the other lists in large numbers at super cheap points value? Really?

It was a figment of your imagination mate. Let it go.

You're just jealous because they were a better list than the Pontic one which supposedly ruled the Bosporans under Mithradates!

But then again, weren't you responsible for creating or at least approving the TT version of the super fantasy army? ;-)

SSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have several campaign referees and tournament organizers convinced of their existence and even some other players who think they are going to try to use them.

You have to love the fact that it seems to be mostly or only Seleucid players who want to whine that the Bosporans get too many good troop types in their list. If you look at the later Seleucid list, about the only troop type they are not allowed to buy are knights. And they complain about the Bosporans  ?

Actually, at least from my perspective, it isn't about the quality of the Bosporan troops. I don't think that the Bosporan troops are that good quality-wise - yes some of the lancers are good, but most of the rest are average... certainly no more exciting than many other lists. It's more the fact that there is almost nothing you can tie down and fight. You spend the whole battle stomping around after an enemy that runs away if you attack, whilst wearing you down through missile attrition. You try to keep the line in good order, but occasionally anarchy sticks it's nose in and something rushes off to be destroyed by the lancers and other cavalry. Occasionally, the Bosporan commander will make a mistake and let you kill a skirmisher! Yay! If the map is such that you can't stop the Bosporans surrounding then it's even worse because either they play ping-pong with your skirmishers and destroying them, or they wait for the rear attack that inevitably comes with an anarchy charge or or a break-off and once the defensive barrier is open then it's chain rear-shunts. By this stage, I generally don't mind the final destruction, because I'm worn down and fed-up from the 1st 10 moves of chasing ghosts. The final battle at least is a fight and it puts me out of my misery

Please don't misunderstand, I don't criticise the tactics, I think they are great and it's what I'd do. It's just the sense of futility (and lack of enjoyment) that goes with playing against them.

Ditto again. Although my last battle with the Bospos was very close. Unfortunately, the army I had to create looked nothing like an ancient army on the field. Might as well use smiley face icons for the pikemen because they weren't operating as a phalanx.

If you think Bospos or bad, fight against the Rhoxalani lists wow they are powerful... Was able to defeat an early Spartan Hoplite army with them, and I generally lack a lot of experiance playing with horse army lists...

Bospo armies are beatable, especially when your opponent buys a lot of heavy infantry.... gives you something to grapple onto!

Rhoxilani are the new bospos. But at least the have cav army equivalents such as the Gekko Batricans. As for the bospos, you'll recall our game with you as the Seleucids and me as the evil ones? Bospos are an easy army to win with. Much like the Swiss given good going.
