Hi,

I recently purchased for my MAC Field of Glory ver 1.2.8. Once I have started the game as attempt to run the application that looks for new patches on your system. It attempt to download ver 3.x.x which is 3 patches.

The issue is that it only downloads the 1st patch then tries to install it then downloads the first patch again. Is there a fix for this as this has been going on for a couple of weeks for me.

I'm moving this to the FoG tech support forum.

Please can you try deleting FieldOfGlory, and installing it again from the original disk image? (I'm afraid you'll need to re-enter your serials after doing this).

Then try the updater again. It may also help to connect your computer to the internet using an ethernet cable instead of by wireless.

(In version 1.3.2, the updater has been improved and will be far more reliable. But unfortunately you need to get to version 1.3.2 before you will benefit from this.)

One question: did you notice whether it said "validating" or "installing" at the moment before it went back to the start of the download?
